Ministries

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Community Groups

We believe that the Christian life is best lived in community with fellow believers. New City has several community and fellowship groups that meet weekly in various locations throughout the city of El Paso.

Reformed University Fellowship

New City and Christ the King planted RUF at UTEP in 2018. In 2021 Pastor Jeff took the role of Teaching Elder at New City Fellowship and UTEP graduate Eduardo Ovalle took over the program as the Campus Ministry Associate.

RUF seeks to reach and equip the 55,000 college students in El Paso. Eduardo and his wife Ana are members of New City Fellowship.

El Paso-Juarez Border Initiative

New City partners with our sister church Christ the King, the entire Rio Grande Presbytery, and Frontera De Gracia in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. to bring the love of Christ to migrants stranded at the US/Mexico Border.

The Border Initiative’s goal is to show the love of Jesus by providing dignified shelter to the migrants who are at risk and on a quest for a better life. The help will provide an infrastructure for a warm meal, a home with a self-sustainable operation, in a safe and spiritual environment.
